Technology = Loss of Privacy

As technology advances it seems people are increasingly becoming complacent with the loss of privacy which comes with every new gadget. You are likely familiar with the popular Echo or Alexa which have quickly made their way into homes across the world. In a very telling example of privacy violation, An Amazon Echo recorded a family’s conversation, then sent it to a random person in their contacts. Please think twice before compromising privacy for convenience.

    Yes, my late father in law loved his alexa (provided by his son) and showed off to my children by saying “alexa play BBC radio 3” and on came the channel – then my son asked “alexa where am i” and it proceeded to announce the exact location – however this did not deter my father in law – he thought it was funny…..also had every jab going and it was his flu jab in the winter of 2019 that damaged his heart and led to his death in 2025 after he had a replacement heart valve in 2021.
