The Dangers of “Roundup”

For decades truth seekers and activists alike have been outspoken regarding the dangers of the toxic Monsanto herbicide “Roundup”. Sprayed on a plethora of non-organic produce, the poison is so harsh that our foods were genetically engineered to withstand Roundup without destroying the plant. Monsanto developed and patented the use of glyphosate to kill weeds in the early 1970s and first brought it to market in 1974, under the Roundup brandname. After 44 years of spraying poison on our crops, contaminating our soil and harming innocent unknowing people, a court case has finally brought much needed attention to this carcinogenic toxin. Unfortunately the poison is now prevalent throughout the food industry and has tainted many popular foods – Cancer-Linked Glyphosate Found In Cheerios, Doritos, Oreos, and More. However awareness is key and focusing on small victories to bring about big change is a major part of activism today. Just two days ago the headline was released that Jurors give $289 million to a man they say got cancer from Monsanto’s Roundup weedkiller. My prayers go out to Dewayne Johnson as he fights for his life while simultaneously exposing the harsh truth that Bayer/Monsanto is responsible for poisoning the populace. Avoid foods that contain this cancer causing poison, help spread the word about the harms of GMO and even if it is small try to play your part in supporting local organic farms that know the truth and bring harmless, nutritious, healthy food from their farm to your table.
